Chocolate. A real love hate relationship

Chocolate Types

If anyone ever tells you they don't like chocolate, they are lying. Everyone loves chocolate from your 2 year old, to your pet rabbit, to your nan. He who has the chocolate has the power. It can make you happier but it can also make you loath yourself. Nom nom nom Chocolate

As you can imagine there are lots of types and forms of chocolate. Here are but a few of my personal favourites.

Dark Chocolate

Also known as Plain Chocolate, dark chocolate is awesome for cooking but a bit of an acquired taste for eating. Dark chocolate isn't sweetened in any way and usually has a very high cocoa content making it a bit sour. Nom Nom factor - 3 / 5.

Milk Chocolate

By far the nations favourite, one company leads the campaign for milk chocolate, Cadbury. With nuts, with fruit, with honeycomb, with nothing, milk chocolate is something few people can resist. The young will eat any including the horrible Kinerton easter eggs. As you mature, so do your tastes leading to a desire for more refined chocolate like the Fair Trade range or the stuff from Hotel Chocola. Nom nom factor - 5 / 5.

White Chocolate

Milky Bar. Enough said. The king of white chocolate although now copied by many, Milky Bar white chocolate is absolutely awesome in small doses. It is impossible to eat a similar quantity of white chocolate as you would milk chocolate. You will be ill. White chocolate is unbelievably sweet.Nom nom factor - 4 / 5.

Dairy Free Chocolate

Dairy free chocolate is disgusting. It makes me feel sorry for people who can't eat dairy. Best not to even bother. It is like compacted brown dust that turns back into dust in your mouth. Nom nom factor - 0 / 5.
